Each year Rep. Royce has the privilege of nominating young men and women of the highest caliber to our nation's military academies. America’s service academies are some of the most prestigious educational institutions in the world that offer students an excellent education in addition to a commission as a military officer. The appointment process is rigorous, highly selective and based on a candidate's academic achievement, athletic ability, extracurricular activities and community service.
Throughout the year, Rep. Royce and his staff hold events for students who are interested in attending one of the academies. The next Military Academy Night will take place on:
Date: Monday, March 16th
Time: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Location: Buena Park City Hall (6650 Beach Boulevard, Buena Park, CA 90622)
An informational flyer is here, and questions and RSVPs can be directed to Stephanie Hu of Rep. Royce's staff at (626) 964-5123 or Stephanie.Hu@mail.house.gov.
